Stakladen Live and Studenterhus Aarhus have been cooking up a new initiative for electro lovers during winter, when the rest of us have been in hibernation. The concept is called Electric Waves and the 18th of February will be the first of many arrangements, where bands will meet their electronic music fans in a fusion of hard beats, cold beers and a lot of bass. Electric Waves is an initiative to enhance the electronic music scene in Aarhus, and with Kenton Slash Demon and the Gang OK as the first bands to kick off the party, we can only expect this concept to get big! Stakladen and Studenterhus Aarhus have managed to book some pretty skilled and acknowledged musicians for the first gig. Kenton Slash Demon might seem unknown to ears new to the electronic scene, but Jonas Kenton and Silas Modelhawer are actually the artists behind this name, and both being members of When Saints Go Machine their sound may seem familiar to many anyway.
