Gig: Minus Top 10 Tracks by Katatonia To Prepare For VoxHall Gig

There are 3 legitimate reasons to spend the evening at Voxhall this Friday, November the 10th. Number one: Katatonia. Number two: møl. Number 3: Sunless Dawn. That should be enough of a proof of the both significance and quality of the event, so let’s move on to the following paragraph. Trying to describe Katatonia’s musical style consistently would unavoidably result in vagueness and superficiality. The timeline of the widely recognized band’s records from 1987 to 2017 would require encyclopaedic accuracy, since the Swedish group has gone through major changes from several genres of metal to progressive/acoustic rock. But that just doesn’t sound right, at least for the ones familiar with the band. So, while we are waiting to hear Katatonia’s performance along with Aarhusians Møl (shoegaze/atmospheric black metal) and Sunless Dawn (progressive metal) at VoxHall, let’s go through some of the less popular records made by Katatonia.
