Hyped Local Band To Visit Radar Thursday

We’ve been around Lowly quite a bit here at SOA, following them intensely since they first started providing us with explosive indie tunes. I mean, their debut single ’Daydreamers’ was taken up by none other than The Guardian – there would be something wrong with you, if that didn’t interest you when working with the local music scene. ‘Daydreamers’ was followed up by ’Stones In The Water’, my favourite, and ’Forward’. Once again, you could feel the buzz coming from the magazines, blogs and social medias. Concerts outside DK followed next, which were turned into record deals in England and Japan. Now, they’re practically already an established name. Less than a month ago, they released an EP called ‘Sink Way Into Me’, containing four dreamy tracks with a characteristic Lowly sound. It’s been discussed a lot lately, that too much of the music coming from Denmark these days sound the same. I’m not arguing that, I agree. But Lowly is one of those bands that actually understands to create this “signature” sound. You can hear if it’s a new Lowly song being played on the radio.
