We were all devastated, when we found out that Musik Aarhus Festival all of a sudden had to stop. We’ve been enjoying the annual event quite a lot, and we’re thrilled that someone’s taking over where Musik Aarhus Festival left off. Eleven days from now, Train’s hosting their second Rise-show and making sure that we’ve got a place to see the best local acts in the various genres – and we’ve been invited to take place in it. The first event was held back in January, where Enough Said Music introduced three local rock-acts, and on May 14, second round’s up: Sound of Aarhus will be introducing three local folk-acts. The event at Train is absolutely free, and it’s a chance to celebrate and enjoy some of the artists from the local scene. And this time you can experience: Rasmus Matthiesen w/band We just witnessed him as the final and closing act at SPOT Festival, showing up with Anders Ahle on guitar and Julius Holst Hvarregaard on bass – this evening, he’ll be bringing his entire band, and we can’t wait.
