Electronic duo Crystal Castles, known worldwide for their chaotic and massive shows, will visit Aarhus in October when they have been booked by Voxhall. This follows only days after the band, originally hailing from Canada unveiled new tracks via SoundCloud and videos via Youtube and Vimeo. Why should you go, you ask? First, Crystal Castles’ debut self-titled 2008 debut album is No. 39 on NME’s “Top 100 Greatest Albums Of The Decade”. Second, they created the soundtrack to the entire year of 2010, when they unveiled ‘Not In Love’ – their hit featuring vocals from none other than Robert Smith of The Cure. Finally, their melancholic mixture of electronic and punk music with fuck-it-all mentality is simply a must-see, when in town.
